Affordable red from Decanter award-winning vineyard

"I usually buy the Malbec from this grower and was surprised by how good the Assemblage is, despite the price."

Wonderful blend of ripe and juicy Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are picked from 30-year-old vines produce ripe, juicy grapes in the Lujan de Cuyo County in the province of Mendoza which is 1200m above sea level. These grapes have plenty of sunshine to ripen during the day and the cool night breezes give them plenty of freshness and help to preserve the fruit flavours.

This Argentinian red wine has a deep ruby colour with an expressive, spicy, ripe red and black fruit nose and is packed with cherry and blackcurrant on the palate. Nice balance between fruit and tannin, and a long, smooth finish. Wine at Home recommendation for lovers of big new world red wines with finesse.
